You Can Be a Part of the Solution
Many parishes, campus ministries, and military bases in the western United States have already experienced the joy and dynamism of equipping lay people to make disciples in the world through The Evangelical Catholic’s Reach More training process. Deeply formed, zealous Catholics who bring the love of Jesus to the secular world make disciples of their children, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Many people they reach might not ever have come to a church.
The western United States needs more Catholic witnesses in its communities. Catholics are hungry for relationship with Jesus. They deeply desire to be able to bring the Good News to family, friends, and coworkers. But many of them are prevented from sharing the love of Jesus because they don’t know how to do it effectively. By expanding the EC’s mission in the western United States, we will multiply the number of well-formed Catholic disciples of Jesus who can spread the Gospel in their circles of influence.
Transforming Lives on the West Coast:
Case Study: The Imperial Valley Communities of California
The spiritual fruit in the communities of El Centro, Brawley, and Westmorland are evidence of how being equipped for mission transcends the barriers of culture and language. The Evangelical Catholic is blessed to be able to provide mission training, consulting, and shepherding resources for our Spanish-speaking partnerships.
Case Study: St. Brigid’s Parish San Diego
St. Brigid Catholic Church in Pacific Beach, CA has seen an incredible shift towards a culture of missionary discipleship during their nine-year partnership with us. We are inspired to partner with ministries who weave this essential mission of making disciples into the fabric of their community’s culture.
